Graeme Neville

Along with his role as Non-Executive Chairman of Pathfinder Solutions, Graeme is also the Non-Executive Chairman of Prime Charter (a successful accounting and taxation specialist), and Segmedico (a provider of market intelligence to the Australian Pharmaceutical sector).

Graeme is a man of vision, conviction and passion in business, and his ability to discern new opportunities and implement the strategies needed to capture them are two characteristics inherent in successful business leadership.

A founding partner of Pathfinder Solutions and Segmedico, Graeme has spent a career identifying potential and carving out leadership positions in the market - skills he brings to his role as Chairman of Pathfinder Solutions.  His strategic mind, strong affinity with people, and business building ability make him a natural leader. 

Graeme travels regularly to the UK and the USA to ensure he keeps his finger on the pulse of overseas developments and trends. He brings over 30 years of marketing, advertising and management experience to Pathfinder Solutions. Graeme has held key management roles with national companies in the advertising, consumer products and consulting fields, including a number of years as a Director and CEO of breakthrough outdoor media group – Buspak.

A man who lives life to the full, Graeme maintains a passion for horses, music and flight. He breeds and owns thoroughbreds, plays guitar in a Blues/Rock band and he has held a private pilot’s license for more than 20 years.

David McCloskey

pathfinders_solutions_director_of_future_insights_photoDavid McCloskey is the Director of Future Insights and one of the founders of Pathfinder Solutions. He brings ingenious, innovative and intelligent ideas to Pathfinder Solutions and their clients.

David has a real love of analytical and marketing insights innovation and he is recognised industry-wide for his ingenuity and vision, and the impact he has made on geodemographic classification in Australia and New Zealand.

David’s zeal for R&D and exceptional applications knowledge assists the Pathfinder Solutions team in offering insights that make a real difference to clients’ business processes and profitability. He is currently working on a solution that combines market research data, geodemographics and customer behaviour modelling, to assist companies in achieving maximum ROI from marketing resources.

After starting his career in industrial marketing, David went on to join CNN Systems (now known as Experian) to head up their Market Analysis business unit where he successfully introduced the MOSAIC geodemographic system to Australia.

In 1993, David, in partnership with Graeme Neville, formed Geospend Pty Ltd and developed Prospecta, the first geodemographic classification and software system specifically designed for Australian and New Zealand conditions.

In 2000, David, Graeme Neville and Ngaire Burn formed Pathfinder Solutions and David has since developed a new generation geodemographic system ‘The Segments of Australia’ and ‘The Segments of New Zealand’.

David holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and an MBA in Business Administration and he is a member of the Royal Society of Victoria. He is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys skiing, surfing and bike riding. He also collects wine and enjoys gardening and photography.

Ngaire Burn

pathfinder_solutions_director_of_client_services_photoNgaire Burn is the Director of Client Services and one of the founding partners of Pathfinder Solutions. She is inspiring, caring and quick thinking. 

A background in Not For Profit and consumer communications with leading brands such as News Limited, Murdoch Magazines and Buspack have given Ngaire Burn a unique insight into the machinations of the buying mind.

Ngaire is not only responsible for ensuring customers are informed, engaged and satisfied with services received from Pathfinder Solutions, she also oversees marketing and PR for the company.

Her relationship with Pathfinder Solutions started over thirteen years ago, when she became one of the founding personnel inside Geospend, which was to engage a series of landmark collaborations with Australia Post.  Ngaire established the Sydney sales office, took the company successfully to market and continued to manage that success for the next seven years.

In 2000, she became a pivotal part of the team to develop the Pathfinder Solutions’ proposition.  Every aspect of her wholly client oriented approach has been applied to every account and her vision, drive and motivation to deliver exceptional outcomes are what epitomise the Pathfinder Solutions offering.

Ngaire resides in Melbourne with her husband and three children, who highly entertain her interest in the workings and capacity of the human body.  After spending her working days absorbed in complex concepts, she gets a great deal of pleasure from the simple things in life, enjoying sport, reading, time with her family, good food and friends. She holds a BA in Leisure Studies and is completing a Masters of Commerce.

John Kershaw

pathfinder_solutions_director_of_insights_photo_2John Kershaw is the Director of Insights and Solutions. A direct, dedicated, and dependable person, his objective is to develop best practice marketing and business insights solutions.

Statistics is a branch of mathematical science.  Applying statistics to creating highly successful business outcomes is an art and John Kershaw is the expert.

Twenty years of experience as a statistician and predictive modelling expert come to the fore in his role as Director of Insights and Solutions for Pathfinder Solutions. John guides the processes, procedures and methodologies used by the company on behalf of its clients.  It is the rigour of the tests used that ensure Pathfinder Solutions help their customers make precise decisions.

Starting his career with Lloyds TSB, John was to spend four years as an analyst studying consumer credit behaviour before moving into senior statistical consulting roles, ending up as the Analysis Services Director for UK Based Macon Consulting in 1992.

During his decade long tenure with Macon Consulting, John oversaw the development of numerous innovative tests and reporting models within a wide range of application areas in consumer behavioural studies, including propensity/cross selling, response, customer value, recruitment, retention and attrition predictors.

John holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Statistics from Sheffield.  He lives in Lindfield, Sydney and is an avid sports enthusiast who plays soccer, tennis, golf, and has competed in half marathons.
