Ali Kershaw | Business Insights Analyst
From running training sessions to providing software support for Pathfinder Solutions related products, from client software installation to software maintenance and update, from providing analytical support to project management, Ali performs all her duties with passion and care.
Apart from her exceptional organisational skills and her commitment to service excellence, Ali also brings over 20 years of database marketing experience specialising in database analysis, design and direct marketing applications across a wide variety of industries to Pathfinder Solutions and their clients.
Ali considers Pathfinder Solutions a great company to work for because of its tight-knit team, all working together in a friendly and supportive manner. The projects are interesting and diverse. Most importantly, Pathfinder Solutions always rises to challenges, develops and delivers the right solution to solve clients’ business issues.
After her busy working days, she gets a great deal of pleasure from spending time with her kids, enjoying netball and tennis. To relax Ali loves a glass of wine, a good book or the company of her friends.

Chris Wright | Business Insights Analyst
Chris is responsible for data processing, data preparation and manipulation, analysis, segmentation and geocoding.
With more than 8 years experience in various IT roles across multiple sectors, Chris brings an in depth knowledge of automation, standardisation and problem solving techniques to the company. In his kit bag, he also has a great sense of humour, patience and dedication.
When asked why he would want to work for Pathfinder Solutions, his answer was "Why wouldn't I?"
Chris holds a Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering from The University of Birmingham. He enjoys playing PC games or riding his mountain bike up and down steep hills.

Helen Neville | Administration Manager
Helen has a diverse role in Pathfinder Solutions. From invoicing to debt collection, from payroll to accounts payable, from administration to answering the phone, Helen handles those tasks with pride and joy.
Bringing over 40 years of experience working in a range of administration and book keeping roles, no wonder Helen can always make those complicated and demanding tasks seem simple.
Helen considers Pathfinder Solutions her second home because it offers her an extremely professional working environment and the people are friendly and passionate.
After five Helen enjoys cooking, watching movies, reading and dining out.

Jim Greetham | Business Insights Manager
As the Business Insights Manager for New Zealand, Jim develops and fosters new commercial relationships for the business and is responsible for overseeing the successful outcomes with each client’s project.
Jim has an experienced background in providing analytical services to organisations, having worked for New Zealand and international organisations that specialise in customer and spatial analytics. He has an extensive knowledge of the New Zealand demography and brings a wealth of experience from helping clients in industries that include Banking, Government, Retail, Direct Marketing, and Property to his role at Pathfinder Solutions.
Jim chooses to work at Pathfinder Solutions because we enjoy working hard to ensure we understand business initiatives and provide insights that clients are able to properly apply.
Jim holds an honours degree from Hull University. He enjoys spending time with his family, is a passionate Waikato Chiefs supporter and when he gets the chance loves to get out for an hour or two in the surf.
Donal Murray | Business Insights Manager
As Business Insights Manager, Donal is responsible for managing the full cycle of client engagement from initial
needs discovery through to project delivery and implementation.
Donal brings 15 years of consultative selling skills together with a track-record of delivering complex IT solutions,
having worked for both major corporations and smaller start-up companies in UK, Asia and Australia. As an
experienced sales and marketing professional, Donal enjoys the challenge in delivering solutions that provide
measurable improvements to company performance.
When asked why he chooses to work for Pathfinder Solutions, Donal summed it up in 3 points:

Philip Ball | Business Insights Manager
Philip’s role is to form close working relationships with clients that enable him to understand how they can best leverage Pathfinder Solutions’ knowledge, skills and resources in order to achieve their business objectives.
He brings 14 years of experience in ERP, relational database and data management related roles on both the technical consulting and business development sides, with several years of management experience in both. He has worked with clients in both the public and private sectors, across 5 continents, and has helped solve issues for the smallest SMEs through to the most significant Blue Chip organisations.
Philip joined Pathfinder Solutions primarily because of its people and its offerings, as well as being motivated by the variety of challenges that clients face. When asked for 3 reasons to work here he said:

Glen Ryman | Business Insights Analyst
In his role as Business Insights Analyst Glen is responsible for the development of innovative solutions that meet our client wide range of challenges across many industries.
Glen brings to Pathfinders ten years' experience in the financial services industry with a background of sales, CRM and marketing analytics. He has a reputation for clear thinking and attention to detail in the design and implementation of marketing strategy with particular focus on ROI.
Glen holds a research Master of Arts degree with a diverse range of academic studies including communication, anthropology and information technology. This provides him with a unique platform from which he can bridge the gap between the art and science of marketing.
As former client of Pathfinders, Glen was so impressed with our work that when the opportunity arose to join the company he did not hesitate.

John Higgins | Business Insights Manager
John is responsible for working with clients to help them identify the best fit solutions (data, software or bespoke) that match their requirements and provide tangible benefits to their business.
Apart from his English accent, John also brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience around how a business can leverage geographic, demographic & logistics solutions to improve business performance. He has worked in multiple industry sectors including retail, utilities, distribution and professional services.

Leroy Jones | Insights Development Manager
Leroy is charged with the responsibility of providing analytical and insights solutions to meet clients’ needs, assisting account managers in designing the most appropriate solution for clients as well as mentoring other analytical team members.
With more than 12 years of analytical and business experience with an emphasis in the retail , financial and transport sectors, Leroy brings strategic thinking, innovative and practical approach to problem solving to Pathfinder Solutions and its clients. Leroy also has the gift of translating complex concepts and models into simple actionable solutions.
Leroy is proud to be part of the Pathfinder Solutions family because it provides:

Les Coleman | Head of Client Management
As the Head of Client Management, Les leads the Pathfinder team focused on developing new and maintaining existing commercial relationships, working closely with clients to develop tailored solutions to overcome their business challenges and managing client projects to successful completion.
Les has a solid background in Business and Marketing fundamentals with a wealth of experience in business development and client management across a range of industries in the UK. He also has an ability to interpret business needs and provide bespoke marketing insights solutions which adds true value to clients’ businesses.

Nicholas Cadey | Business Insights Manager
As the Business Insights Manager, Nicholas Cadey creates and maintains outstanding client relationships, assists clients in translating their needs into actionable insights.
Nicholas brings more than 10 years experience of creating valuable customer relationships through understanding client requirements and delivering great solutions for both SME as well as Blue Chip companies to the table for Pathfinder Solutions’ clients. He is customer centric, passionate and eager to create practical solutions for various clients.
Nicholas consider Pathfinder Solutions a great company to work for because Pathfinder Solutions has a unique offering within the Australian market which places the company at the forefront of marketing analytics and business insights. He really enjoys working closely with thought leaders as it presents him with endless opportunities to learn. Rose Yip | Insights Development Manager
Rose is a valued member of the Pathfinder Solutions team as the Insights Development Manager. In fact, she has worked with the Pathfinder Solutions’ Directors since 1993, when they founded Geospend Pty Ltd, the Australia Post joint venture.
Rose is responsible for most aspects of Pathfinder Solutions’ market insights business. She plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of various analytics and insights projects.
Armed with 14 years of experience in spatial analysis, data manipulation, in-depth understanding of Pathfinder Solutions’ software and products, Rose also has strong analytical skills with a gift for analysing a range of highly complex business issues to create actionable insights.
The people, strong ethics and the diverse and challenging projects are the three main ingredients that make Rose consider Pathfinder Solutions her second home. She is also proud to be the longest serving employee of the company.
Rose has a degree in Bachelor of Science - Operations Research from University of Canterbury, NZ. Her passions outside of work are spending time with her husband and three boys, baking, listening to music and relaxing.

Shane Butler | Business Insights Analyst
Shane is responsible for analysing customer and market data for clients to deliver marketing and business insights. His duties include customer segmentation and profiling, data mining, predictive analytics, mapping and geocoding.
Having previously worked in the technology and finance sectors, Shane brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for solving business problems using data. His skills include applying data mining and predictive analytics to derive business value. He has also worked on large amounts of customer data for customer profiling and segmentation, including building response models for direct marketing within the credit industry.
Shane has chosen Pathfinder Solutions as his place of work because the team are committed to solving business problems across a wide range of industries and are known for thinking outside the square to achieve this goal.
Shane holds a Master of Information Technology (Research) degree from Monash University and a Bachelor of Information Technology degree, with Honours, from Deakin University. When not at work, he enjoys running, going to the beach and catching up with friends.

Simon Sullivan | Statistician, Consulting Services
Simon has the exciting role of developing new insights and creating advanced solutions to address clients’ business issues.
Simon has extensive experience in FMCG and retail sectors. He has also worked in transport research, oil industry and traditional market research. During that time, Simon has used multiple data sources including sales, transaction, customer, market research, consumer panel, spatial and advertising data to name a few. He is experienced in a variety of techniques including multi-variate statistical methods, choice modelling, data fusion, optimising techniques and heuristics.
Simon enjoys his life in Pathfinder Solutions because everyone in the organisation is professional and genuine. The company is committed to advance problem solving and doing new things.
Simon has a Bachelor of Science (Operations Research & Statistics) degree from the University of Queensland as well as a Bachelor of Theology degree from the Sydney College of Divinity. He is a tea snob, enjoys a run, the opera, the theatre, cricket and bell-ringing.

Tam Mai-Viet | Business Insights Analyst
As the Senior Business Analyst, Tam is responsible for compiling and maintaining various demographic databases. Working with the consulting team, she also provides actionable solutions to various clients.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the area of geography based market analysis, Tam’s skills include market mapping (Tactician), retail analysis, data audit and verification as well as customer profiling. In her kit bag, she also has a keen eye for detail and the strong ability to multi-task.

Thuy Mai-Viet | Chief Statistician
As the Chief Statistician, Thuy has a key role in developing and maintaining Pathfinder Solutions’ demographic and economic databases. He also builds and continuously improves various forecasting models to support clients' needs.
With more than 30 years of in depth knowledge in modelling and forecasting, as well as a comprehensive understanding of Australian geography and demography, economic and social issues, Thuy is an invaluable resource to Pathfinder Solutions and its clients.
Thuy has been a long standing member of Pathfinder Solutions. He loves it here for 3 simple reasons:
